ibook g4 question...

i was talking to someone that repairs them and he told me that because my frame is broken in the battery tray area that the logic board would act up agian in 30 days even after putting the new one in... that to me seems kinda odd that the frame would affect the logic board when its in the battery tray any help would be appreciated

This seems very odd to me. I can see how this might create slight strain on the MoBo, but not enough to go bad. If that is the case you could always use some Quick-Steel http://www.aerostich.com/product.php...cat=349&page=1 to fix the frame. And to answer your other post, you can fit almost any MoBo into any case of the same size if you're willing to put some work into it. I'm using a 12" 1.07gHz G4 board in a 12" G3 case.
