Hey Users,
Anybody else having problems with the help viewer in 10.3.4 or 5
Mine either closes right away after opening or the contents (fields) are completely blank. it's getting frustrating now.
It's the same old situation, you never use the damn thing for years and then when you do it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?They Live :alien:

I have read about problems with the help viewer. After repiaring permissions seemed to resolve the problem. You can try repairing permissions and see if that helps. Also what version of the OS are you on?

Or you can try going in Finder > user > library > Preferences Trash all the help pref files (usually 3) and re open Mac help from finder. This should regenerate the files and then you can empty trash

I had that problem too, one of the tips above solved it (I think)
Or try reinstalling help using pacifist (google for it, it lets you do custom os X installs)
