    Flashing Mac
Hi I hope you can help me, my mates ibook now just boots to a flashing mac with a question mark in it. I've got an os 9 install disc but not the restore. That disc I discovered to my joy is in several pieces now.

Holding the option key we get a screen with a circle and an arrow on it, but thats all and it doesnt do anything? Whats that all about?

    Any one know anything?

If it is a complete OS 9 installation disk, reboot the machine while holding down the "C" key, and it will boot from the disk and allow you to format & reinstall.
