When was the last update for the Imac? Is there one coming in the foreseeable future? I am considering buying a new Imac for my home, but I am not sure if I should buy it now or wait until the next update.

Thanks.

Who knows but buy what you want and be happy with it. I have been buying Apple computers since Lisa came out in 1984 or 1985 and there is ALWAYS a new model just around the corner.

No one knows for sure when any Apple product will be updated. Here is a site that tracks updates as well as rumors. It might help you decide.

BTW, as soon as they update the iMac I am buying one .

MBP: 15" display, 2.16Ghz, 2GB Ram, 120GB HDD space
Mac Pro: 24" & 17" displays, 2 x 3GHz Quad-Core Xeon, 5GB Ram, 3.25TB HDD space
