Small Problem After Firmware Update (G5)

Hello everyone.

Well I thought I did a good thing and updated the Firmware - WHICH TRULY DISABLED my G5 1.6. And then I installed the one which has fixed it apart from one minor thing:

The desktop picture/pattern won't size to the screen anymore and there's no option to tile, centre etc in the Appearance pane. Tried PRAM things etc. It'll go OK in certain resolutions (weird widescreen and tiny ones) but not at 1600x1200 which I like.

Anyone have any thoughts? It's only small, but slightly annoying!
QUOTE Thanks
