on my HP laptop that I use to have I used a product by Dust Off called LCD cleaning solution, and I would spray it onto a cleaning foam and then just clean my screen. My question is this ok to use on my iMac or should I be using something else.

Try a tiny bit in the bottom corner of the screen to see, I don't see why it will not work just fine

I use a lens cleaner that my optometrist gives me each visit. It's supposedly good for coated glass (not sure if the iMac screen has any coating). I wipe it with a quality microfiber cloth.

Happy to be back to a Mac
