i've ordered my imac through the online store and i've finally set it up today! what can i say? i'm terribly pleased with it, and i'm glad i finally let go from the clutches of microsoft and its crappy software. the imac is great, i'm so glad i got it. it's hella easy to master as compared to windows as the interface is really user-friendly. pics of my set-up soon! i'm happy to be part of the mac fanbase now.

Its funny but sad at the same time, how most of the people that switch from a windows pc to an apple computer, all they do is bad mouth microsoft, their software, and pc manufacturers. Me, personally have nothing against it, and respect those developers as much as i respect apple developers.

Microsoft makes some of the best software in the world. No need to badmouth it. believe me, most people prefer apple compared to microsoft, but that does not mean microsoft makes 'crappy software'. Even on my mac, i use microsoft software (Word, excel, powerpoint...ect.) every day. I personally prefer Apples OS compared to windows.

Also, congrats on your new computer.

What fun!

I'm expecting mine to arrive Monday. Was Leopard pre-installed, or did you receive one with Tiger installed + Leopard DVD?

I just ordered myself a 24", and I'm just absolutely thrilled to be getting it. I've never even used one, but the videos, the specs, the reviews, and the look of them is just wonderful.

Congrats on yours. I just can't want to try mine out.

I just got my first of the newer style imacs today. 17" intel core 2 duo 2.0 ghZ...Would have preferred at least a 20" but for 500.00 bucks who can complain. It's in excellent shape and came with Leopard and discs so I am happy. Drove 4 hours one way to get it...LOL

Congrats on your new imacs....looks great!
