I noticed the prices on the OWC Ram. Anybody familiar with it? Is it good and reliable? Apple's is sooo expensive I'm seriously considering OWC. I need to max out my iMac 2.16 up to 3Gb.

I also see they have other brands... Techworks, Samsung, Micron. They are only a bit higher in price. Should I opt for these better known brands instead?

I bought a 4GB kit from them a couple of weeks ago for my brand new 20 inch iMac. I can say that I have had not one issue with the RAM. My machine is rock solid stable. I've done a ton of iMovie, iPhoto, and XCode work without issue at all. Net, for what it's worth, I would definitely buy from them again.

Thanks

Out of the brands carried by OWC, personally would just get their in house brand.

Their RAM is working perfect in my computer. I'd highly recommend it.
