I have an 1.8GHz 17-inch iMac G5 in mint condition (with brand new keyboard). I bought my iMac in November 2005.

The complete specs are here: http://support.apple.com/specs/imac/iMac_G5.html
I also added 1GB of RAM onto my iMac. As for software, I have Microsoft Office, QuarkXpress, and a few other bonus programs that are nice to have but not too expensive.

I have three interested buyers, but I am not too sure what price to sell it at.

I would love your suggestions.

Thank you.

I have been told $1000 and $1300.

Are your prices in USD? Because I am in Canada, so I just want to account for that (even though the dollar is really good).

Take a look on Ebay to get an idea what Imacs are selling for. The prices on the older Imacs are dropping like a stone, considering that we can buy a new intel 20" for about $1200 US.

A fair price for that would be between $700 and $800 (US).

Considering you can buy a brand new one, with a 20" screen, a gig of RAM and a much more powerful processor, 2ghz C2D... not to mention a quantum leap in the GFX processor in the new iMAC (the FX5200 was truly nVidia's worst ever GPU) I'd say you're looking at around $800 US - the software you mention is only worth about $100 2nd hand: most people won't understand how much Quark costs.

Since the Canadian dollar is now worth the same 1 USD = 1.004 CAD, if you've been offered $1,300 CAD, take it and don't forget to shake the guys hand.
