at work, there is a powermac g3 whose video card has apparently died. this is a government office, so any purchase will probably have to be done via CDWG or something, but what kind of card does this take?

If it's a B&W G3, it takes a *mac compatible* PCI video card. The original card was an ATi Rage 128/16MB or something similar. If it's a beige G3 it has integrated graphics, but it ought to take a PCI video card.
