I'm sure this has been asked years ago, but i was wondering if i could add a 17" flat screen Mac monitor to a "Summer 2001" Snow imac.
I read on EveryMac.com that it is possible with the later model "non-flat screen" imacs.

G3 iMacs have a removable plate on the back which when opened, will reveal a standard VGA port. You will be able to 'mirror' the display only.

Thanks for the quick response. That was what I was expecting.
I'd need to get a 20" monitor to make that worth while. Oh, well.

I'm sure that there are some hacks that you could use so it can do more than miroring though, the iBook has one.
