Hi everyone,

I have been a PC user for about 12 years but have started to use my mac laptop increasingly because of work (im a graphic designer) and when i jumped back onto the pc after a week of using the mac... I found myself pressing keys that didnt exist on the pc like F11...

I am really missing some of the features from MAC OSX and started to think about getting a mac for home. This is where the problem is... I am currently running 3 monitors from my pc:

Dell 3007wfp 30"
2 x Dell 3007wfp 20"

How on earth can I run these on a MAC without buying a hugely expensive Mac Pro? My pc only cost around 700 pounds and so I refused to pay 1600+ for a similar performing MAC.

I assume I cant do this, as macmini doesnt support 2650 x 1600 never mind the other 2 monitors, all the laptops support 1 and mac pro is the only other option?
QUOTE Thanks

I think you are right - a Mac Pro is the only NEW option you could use. Perhaps you should consider a used PowerMac G5? These are excellent machines and are less expensive these days. Apple sells refurbished ones through their web site - you may wish to start watching and get yourself a good deal. Alternately of course there is eBay, but for an item of this magnitude, I would be a little worried about that....

My Macs: iMac 27" 3.4 GHz, Mac Pro 3.2 GHz, PowerMac G5 Quad 2.5 GHz, G4 Cube with 1.2 GHz Upgrade
My iStuff: 64GB iPhone 5, 64GB iPad4, 30GB iPod Video, 16GB iPod Touch
My OS': Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Tiger, Mac OS 9.2.2, openSUSE 10.3
