iMac - what do they do with the old ones?

what do the apple stores do with the old imacs that they had in stock the day the new ones came out. ive been thinking about this and it would be cool if they sold them at a discount price for being an earlier model. but knowing apple they probably sent them back to headquarters in the same boxes the new ones came in.

They probably take them back to go to the refurbished store on Apple.com

I heard Steve Jobs eats them. He has iMacs for breakfast and sometimes as a special treat Roasted Mac Pro for dinner.
