Hi,

I have decided to sell my Intel Mini in favour of a new Macbook. I have a couple of questions before selling. Firstly, I was wondering whether anyone had any suggestions as to which program/method I should use to wipe the Hard Drive ( I have everything backed up). Also when finding out all the instructions and install discs I noticed that both the Mini and my sister's Macbook have an OS X install disc 1, but amongst everything there was only one install disc 2. Which machine would this have come with?

Thanks

You can format the hard drive using your installation disk 1.
Insert the DVD 1 > Restart the Mini > Press C during the boot-up > Goto the Utilities from the Main menu > format the HD

You can select several security stages for formating. Select whatever you think is appropriate.

Both Mini and the MB comes with 2 Disks.
