Mac Specs: PowerMac G3 B&W, 512Mb, 30Gb HDD, speed bumped to 450Mhz(by means of jumper pack), ATI Rage 128

I was looking for a cheap efficient cpu upgrade for my B&W. I have 1 gig of ram and its efficient but i need a little more umph.

cool thanks, i just checked ebay no luck but ima keep an eye out.



EDIT** and when it comes to RAM do i need to use apple only memory, i think one of my sticks is on its way out, and i purchased the computer with the 1 GB of ram so m not sure... I know it takes PC-100, which i have a couple sticks lying around but its PC. Is it compatable?

Should work just fine. As long as it's not some new PC133 Ram with HD Chips it will work. Also each can be 256 Meg PC100. 512Meg Dimms do not work in the B&W.
