Ive had my G5 since college and man can this machine crush some graphics files. Its about 4 years old now and still chugging along enough that I don't feel like i need a new computer. Questions is hes getting a little ornery and crashes once in a great while. Where as with my old Pc's i used to hit them I only give my G5 a gentle scolding and reboot. Now that im in the proffesional feild i feel I might need to upgrade him to keep it current. Im faily inadept at computers but i have figured out three different areas to try to sink money into, graphics cards, processer, or RAM. The processor is a 1.6 Ghz and the graphics card is the stock one shipped form Apple, RAM is 1 gb. Where would I get the most bang for the buck and also diminish this crashing. Thanks for any and all help.
