G5 iMac pics (almost certainly fake)

These have been out on the internet for awhile. I don't know how real they are (in fact, I doubt they're real at all), and they don't reveal that much about the computer's appearance, but here they are nonetheless.

http://homepage.mac.com/agell/.cv/ag...mb_273_205.jpg

Yeah, they don't seem to be real at all, but they're not hoaxes either. They're simply artwork, believe it or not. Still, it does look pretty nice, kind of similar to a G4 iMac except the base looks like the frustum of a cone rather than the G4's dome-shaped base. They're nice to look at, and maybe the G5 iMac will look something like that when it comes out, who knows. So, what are everyone's thoughts?

(P.S. The site I got the pics from are, respectively, http://theapplecollection.com/design...-iMac-ad.shtml and http://homepage.mac.com/agell/PhotoAlbum17.html I found the pics by looking up the query iMac G5 in Google's image search)

that is a pretty sweet design that guy made....i like seeing peoples realistic designs for new macs.....the basic photoshoping of a photo (like the powerbook) to make it look huge for the G5 is kinda boring

Of course, with the recent announcement of Apple's struggle to make more "compact" G5s (like a Powerbook G5, iBook G5, iMac G5, eMac G5) we now know that these pictures are 100% fake and that the design of them hasn't even been thought about yet!

They have discontinued making iMac G4s (rumors) so there must be something coming up

And it would actually be quite solid What you are seeing is the "reflection" at the bottom.. so it's just a flat bottom. That's my take on it.. and yes of course it's fake, but it still looks pretty kewl! They discontinued the Powermac G4's right? Not all G4's.. Or am I wrong on that?

I hope they don't go to crazy with the new design. I kind of like the old one.
