iMac - Got my new iMac

Hey everyone, its good to be back.

My Mac days started when I had an iBook G4 with Panther on it. For some stupid reason I sold it!

I have been working on PC's for the past year and a half due to work etc.

But today I went and got me a new iMAC 17". It is seriously cool!

I have never used tiger before and I have to say that I am pretty impressed with it!

Down with PC thats what I say!

Be prepared for all my stupid questions about tiger!

I'm not sure about what torrent clients have the best reviews, but I have heard good things about Transmission, Azuerus, Acquisition, etc... HERE is a link to some reviews of them.

As far as any applications are concerned, I would HIGHLY recommend Quicksilver... I can not imagine my computer life without it.

Yeah, I'm actually using Azuerus at the moment and so good so far!

Im off to get Quicksilver now!

Dive into it... spend sometime figuring out the MANY many things it can do and be used for. I have it set to invoke when I press F1... you have no idea how many times I now press F1

it does it all.

I recommend that program. It helped me share files with a team of folks last year at a prior job...with thanks to ISOHunt...because nobody is going to torrent a file called 0001383743882machat6211.pdf

this might sound silly but do I have to manually switch to os9 from tiger somewhere or if a program isn't receptive to tiger the computer will know to switch over to os9 mode?
