iMac - Greatest productivity

I wanted to run this by the experts here at Mac-Forums -

I am going to purchase a new 24" iMac (in August of course), so all of the hardware upgrades are released. The iMac will be used primarily for Graphic Design work (Adobe CS3) and Internet. But my current Gateway laptop has my Music collection of 45 GB and also has Adobe CS3.

So my question is should I keep my music off of my new iMac to ensure the greatest performance possible or will the 45 GB not hinder the speed.

Also, are Torrent applications safe for iMacs?

Welcome to the forums!

Your Music being on the iMac's hard drive will not slow it down.

Torrent applications are safe for Macs.
