upgrading video card
hi from a scale of 1 to 10.... 10 being the hardest how hard is it to replace your video card....i have a PowerMac G5 dual 1.8ghz w/30"cinema hd display....any help would be appreciated.

To replace a video card, all you really have to do is take out the old one and swap in the new one. With Windows, you usually have to upgrade drivers, but since OS X is a lot more plug and play friendly, it should handle that part on its own. The hardest part is actually choosing which video card you want.

So I would have to say somewhere around 2 or 3 on the difficulty scale.

The VRAM is on the Video Card. Most Mac edition Video cards are not VRAM upgradable...
