I am curious if anyone else can hear their Imac. I sit pretty close to mine (1 Foot) and I constantly hear a low buz sound coming from it. It is not loud at all but it is kind of annoying. Can anyone else hear their Imac?

The fans run up a wee bit if it's doing something processor intensive.

BTW, 1 foot is bad for your eyes. Back up, dude

dont go as close as 1 foot. your eyes will be screwed. im about 2-3 ft from mine.

but your question - i cant hear it. you could use icyclone to control fan noise. i say idle temp 40*c and max 55*c etc.. so it doesnt get hot.

It's by no means an annoying buzz, From where I sit (2-3 foot away) I can barely hear it. Now then my Windows PC is turned on you pretty much have to wear ear mufflers! lol

Very seldom do I hear the fan come on. Other than that, I don't hear anything and I sit about 2 ft. away.
