I purchased a mac mini through ebay. cannot directly contact seller. Have gone to upgrade software and need "guest" password to complete. Have no idea what was used as the admin password or guest one. Is there a work around or standard pw used or do I have to use orig disks and reinstall from scratch? Thanks
QUOTE Thanks

Yes you do need the original disks to reset the password. The other solution is to buy a full-install OS, not an upgrade install nor disks that came with another Mac model.
QUOTE Thanks
