iMac - Loading Tiger onto an iMac snow

I've only got OS 9.2 on the iMac now. First, I've forgotten my 'admin' password and can only access my boys accts. Do I need to reload OS 9.2? Which I've tried but am unable to do. I've tried the option key but it will not show my OS 9 or the X upgrade disk. It will show my Norton disk (it is a valid startup disk) What am I missing? Second, I don't see either HD on the others desktop (through firewire). Do I need to network them? I have never tried it. Thanks for any help. |
