I previously had a mac mini and when I went in to change my background or screensaver system prefrences would quit. When I called apple they said it may be because of screen savers I had added. I removed them and it still did it. When I recently got a new iMac it still does the same thing.
Any suggestions?

try adding a new user account and see if it does it on that
