Hi,
I am looking to switch to Mac OS completely and would like to know if G4 with 800Mhz, 128Mb video ram, and 1G RAM is going to be enough for some Video editing using Final Cut Pro and Photoshop CS ? Also, in a year, is it going to be totally absolete?
QUOTE Thanks

That machine can handle it, but a G4 at about 1.2gHz or more would be noticeably faster.

Will it be totally obsolete in a year? Probably not, considering people are still buying and using the 400mHz machines.
QUOTE Thanks
