Power Mac - No audio being played from the Internet...
No matter what browser I use, and whether it's html or flash, my laptop will no longer play audio from the internet.
Audio functions perfectly with itunes and all other uses on my laptop besides internet.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
I tried to look at preferences and settings.

open garage band and play a loop then close it. If you dont have garageband you can go in applications->utilities-> open "audio midi setup" under input mine is set to 44100.0 Hz 2 CH 24 bit. I had the same problem and fixed it there.
