I have a chance to buy an iMac for $112 but it will cost about $60 to ship it to me.

It is a 500 MHz, with OS 10.3, and 20 gig HD and RW CD. Does that price seem fair?

Do you think it will survived being shipped cross country?

Any other comments?
QUOTE Thanks

It sounds like a fair price to me.. it should survive a cross country trip.. I suggest you tell him to double box it and add insurance. that way if something does happen you are covered.

Get a Mac Mini instead. It would be far far better in the long run.

A 15" monitor is peanuts on ebay. Likewise a keyboard and mouse.
