iMac - Using iMac as a monitor?

Hello,

I have an 17 inch Intel iMac and I would like to use it as a screen for one of my PC. Is this possible with some kind of adapter or just a special wire?

Nope as far as I am aware....

There might be a mod you can do but it's not support by Apple straight of the self.

About the only way I can see this working is if you get a usb or firewire capture device, and have the software running, but that will only work as a mirror not extend your desktop. The Imac doesn't have any video input connections or anything like that.
