Hello all.
I bought a mac mini powerpc 1.25ghz g4 processor for my son when he comes back from basic training next week. He is not too big into computers so I thought this would be fine for him. He's not into gaming or graphics. Just surfing and talking online. The mini comes with 512mb of ram. I would like to upgrade. I removed the 512 chips from my iMac Intel 24" and put in 2 gb of ram. Now I have these 512 chips just sitting around. I have been trying to find specs on the type of ram the m ini takes but can't seem to find it. Apple doesn't even make mention to this computer anymore because it is not intel. Does anyone know what type of memory it takes and how to install it? I'd like to do it before I leave for texas on wednesday. Thanks. Pay no attention to that thing on the floor, it's just a hairball.
