Hi there, i just need to find out what a superdrive is, i dont usually work with MACs its just PCs but i gotta knowwhat a Super drive is - what its similar to, could someone please get back to me asap

A superdrive is just a CD burner and a DVD burner.

hey clairen, this is a good example topic for something that should be either searched for in the forums, googled, or looked up on wikipedia.

but to answer your question, as apple lists them: "16x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)" a superdrive is a DVD Read and Write drive that also Reads and Writes CD's. it is apples term for what people commonly call a "DVD Burner"
