I just upgraded my old G4 400 MHz Sawtooth machine with a Sonnet Encore/ST 1 GHz card. The machine's a lot faster, but I think I can do better. I know the Sawtooth had 2X AGP, which isn't all that great, but I'd like to upgrade the first-generation ATI Radeon 32 MB card with something a bit snappier.
What's the best card? Given that this machine is limited to 2X AGP, which current video card will work? Which will provide the best performance? I doubt it would be worth the effort to put a GeForce FX 5200 card in this old monster.
Any advice is appreciated.

Take your shot at an ATI Radeon 8500, or 9000 Pro. These work just fine on your 2x AGP port and are really good graphic cards. I'd go for the 9000 Pro version, great card.
