If your G5 iMac is not running as it should:
Unexpected shutdowns Video distortion etc. It could be the your logic board is fryed. To check that your logic board is healthy. Open up your iMac (unscrew the 3 screws) If you look at the logic board you will see that there are a number of capacitors connected to it. ( These look like mini batteries) If any of them have a bulge on the top, then thats what your problem is and you need to take the machine to an apple store to get repaired. Jason |
