just tried it out and it works! I can now play wmv files in Quicktime!

Hey all...I tried this on mine and when it gets to where the movie would get to going then my browser crashes...anyone can tell me how to remedy this? I started it over and tried agan and again and it crashes all the time.

You don't need to follow that guide any more, just download the universal binary of flip4mac:
