geekboy2000 has a spectacular aura about
Mac Specs: 20" 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo iMac, 1.5 GHZ PPC Mac Mini, MacBook MB403LL/A

I do not have the option "Automatically Reduce the brightness of the display before display sleep" checked under Energy Saver options. I do have the display sleep set to 3 hours. After about 1 hour (maybe 45 minutes), the display dims down just a bit. Mouse or keyboard activity restores it. I'm not sure why it would kick in at all with that option un-checked, and more annoying is that it does so even if watching a DVD. Is there anything that can be done to totally disable this feature? 20" iMac Intel Core Duo w/OS X 10.4.6. Thanks!
