Hi, I don't know why, but i do not think my iMac is letting itself go to sleep after the time I have it set. I realized this when I'd continously come back to the computer and the screen would be black and the white light on the bottom light would be solid white. When I manually put it to sleep the light pulsates, also it takes a bit longer to start up when asleep. When I return to the computer and the light is solid it seems the screen has just gone to sleep, but not the actual computer. Anyone know a possible solution?

Thanks.

Since i am not near my Apple system at this time, I can not verify which option to choose. Check your power management options. it could be you have your set to sleep the monitor only and not the CPU.
