help! my mac mini's ethernet connection is extremeley bad, it will only work for a short period and then it will dissapears from the network summary!

The Mac is still under warranty but no Apple Care .

If it's still under warranty that is fine.

All Macs come with 1 years 'free' AppleCare warranty worldwide, and then you can purchase an extra 2 years to bring it up to 3 years cover.

Warranty is synonymous with 'AppleCare' in this instance.
