I bought a 20-in iMac recently and looking to add an additional 512MB to it. All I can find on the web is
the generic laptop memory which meets all specs (PC2700, DDR-SDRAM, SO-DIMM 200pin) except that I cannot find 3.3V memory anywhere. I can only find CAS 2.5V. Does this matter if I use 2.5V memory instead of 3.3V memory on an iMac? I would appreciate any help. (yes.. i did check www.fastermacs.com and macmall.com) |
