Intel core duo is the newest processor and its starting to appear in pc's as well. It is new technology, but intel already has plans for a whole new line of chips. The core duo does very well against P4 and especially celeron. This is because it is newer technology, its kinda like comparing a P4 to the P3, you know its going to be better because its newer, but at the beginning people did not really know how much better it was yet. I currently can't say the core duo is 20% faster or make up any other number because I simply have not seen a report about it, but I do know that it feels faster, we will just have to wait to see some benchmarks.
