    Running Mav. any idea which ad blocker performs best if any?

    Which browser are you using? Adblock Plus for Chrome is what I use..

    I also use Adblock Plus and it does a great job...

    Adblock for Safari combined with Ghostery does wonders.
    Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    2012 Mac Mini 2.5 ghz i5, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD (5200 RPM)
    Adblock for Safari kind of stinks. It isn't as robust as Adblock Plus on Chrome. I prefer Safari so I stick to it for most things and pop Chrome open on a few sites where Adblock for Safari can't get stuff. It isn't real good with video ads for instance.

    Ghostery looks interesting though. I might have to install that.
