I upload my pictures from my mac to Facebook then I try to delete them from my mac but when I do it says they will be deleted from Facebook as well can this be avoided I know my pc did not do this. thanks

You making copies of the photos to the desktop and then sending them to FaceBook?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

I load them onto my mac, store them in 1photo and then click on them to upload right from the iPhoto icon on the mac.
