I inserted the wrong OSX disk for this machine and now, because it is still "reading" it, the device doesn't allow me to eject it. Any suggestions? I've done "Command E" and repeatedly hit the eject button with no effect.

Restart the computer...then press & hold the mouse button down until the disk ejects.
