I purchased an iMac from my friend last June, 2013. I'm trying to confirm what the value of it was back then. Here are the specs:

It's a 2012 iMac:

Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB

Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)

It's in perfect condition.

She's a friend, so I'm paying her back slowly.

I can't tell you what the value was back in June 2013, however, the value since then should not have depreciated very much. You can determine its approximate street value by going to
Mac2Sell web site. Mac2Sell - Argus, Evaluation, Guide to used Mac, iPad, iPhone & iPod

Also, compare the price of a like machine on eBay and Craig's List.

There's not much point wondering or asking what a computer was worth 7 months ago (water under the bridge). What's important is what it's worth now.

A quick FYI. Computers depreciate very quickly. If you're paying your friend back "slowly"…at some point you may find that you may owe more money than it's worth. If you were paying interest on this transaction…the situation could be even worse.

Bottom line...The time to ask/confirm how much something is worth is when you purchase it. Not 7 months later.
