I am running lion 10.7.5 with 2.16 GHz Intel core 2 Duo ,4 GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM. When I start typing my info on a web site the autofill box comes up. When I click on the autofill box , some times the box gets a blue background but it never fills in anything. Can someone please help me with this annoying problem.I am using Safari 6.1.1. I have the most updated OX version that will run on my mac.

What is it that you're trying to autofill? Many sites do not allow autofill and will block Safari or any other browser from doing so. Banks and financial institutions generally do not allow autofill, and nowadays many other sites likewise block it.

Safety and security precautions prevent autofill. It is a weak point in your computer's security.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

I use LastPass https://lastpass.com. Saves passwords and it saves a profile for AutoFill. Works on a lot of sites.

Web sites that used to auto fill when I am buying something online, now will not. Autofill won't work on any web site. Maybe I have changed a setting that made it not autofill.
