Heh,

i've loved how Macs have evolved. But my evolution starts at the iMac, and ends with the iMac Intel. But what was before that? We can go WAAAY back to the day of LISA and LISA II, but that's the 70s and 80s.

Where was apple in the the 1990s, pre 1999. The only thing i can dig up is the Mac 20th Anneversary Edition in 1997.

How did Mac go from:

Your photo made me realize that the Mac has and hasn't gone that far. Everything is faster and nicer, but the basic design is there -- the screen is contained in a box with all the rest of the internals. That's funny that you put a picture of the Classic Mac and the iMac G5/Intel up, it just seemed like it...grew up a little, I guess

O I remember much of the 90's. The imac, the clamshell, the first powermacs. My old SE and my three old powermacs. And my first PowerPc.

Edit: Almost forgot my old powerbook.
