I recently traded my 2007 MacBook with Office Mac 2004 for an iMac. I have the original disc for Office Mac 2004 including the product keys but when I insert the disc I received an error message. How do I do I proceed as I don't want to have to repurchase the office mac software. Thanks for your help.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

What model iMac is the big question. If running Lion or Mountain Lion only Office 2008 or 2011 will install. powerPC applications are no longer supported.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
