i did a stupid thing, help please

Hey yall, just got my imac in the mail today.
Got to the user setup screen and somehow I entered a password i didnt mean to (and somehow i did it twice consecutively). anyways, after an infuriating hour of trying passwords, I've come to yall to ask if theres anything I can do. thanks

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS 10.10.1

And if the operating system is Lion or Mountain Lion, use Recovery the same way. Always helps if you provide system and computer details.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
