Which Mac?
Define 'very hot'
All the time or just during particular tasks?
Any negative effects on performance/stability?

- Specs:
- iMac, i7 4GHz, 32GB memory, 1TB PCI-e storgae StOS X.13.3
And what does iStat Pro or similar utilities have to say about the heat?
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
