Hi,

I am new to the forum so please excuse me if this post is in the wrong section.

I currently have a 21.5' Late 2009 iMac, 500 GB HD, 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo. iMac also has six months of AppleCare left. - I also have a Late 2011 Macbook Pro 13"....I LOVE both of these computers.

Having said that, I generally use my Macbook Pro 95 percent of the time. The only thing I really use the iMac for is school work or web design.

Someone has offered to trade me a Macbook Pro 13" Late 2010 with a 120GB SSD Hard Drive, 2.4GHz, Core 2 Duo for my iMac.

As for advice...If I kept the iMac, it would still hardly ever use it...but I do love it. If I traded for another Macbook Pro...I'd have two, but one I'd use at home and one I'd make my travel...I would love to hear your thoughts as to what you would do??

Thanks so much!

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Well not much sense in two MBP is there? Stick where you are.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
QUOTE Thanks
