Where is my mac's macintosh HD?
I just bought a mac yesterday (version 10.8) and have been trying to figure out where my mac's Macintosh HD is. I went to finder, but it wasn't there.

I'd like to move the Macintosh HD to my desktop so I easily see how my harddrive is going.

Any help or is it possible my mac is defective?
