airport extreme installation on g5

my g5 does not have a port for an antenna their appears to be two wires near the card slot how do I install the antenna to the card and which way does the card face it appears to fit either way. HELP!

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS X.10

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Depends greatly on what model G5 which you have not shared with us. Some G5's have an antenna on the back of the machine like a T piece.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
